Film Office Assistant Internship

March 2026 - April 2026, Plymouth

Through the University, I applied to and was chosen for the role of Film Office Assistant for Screen Devon. My position encompassed a variety of tasks, from content creation to location scouting. For their content creation, I was helping them create some consistent posts, and frames for future designs. I considered their logo colours and the professional outlook of the page to audiences when designing them using Canva. When reviewing the current locations database for Plymouth, I looked for locations that could use more updated photos, and thought about new areas to log. I then travelled to different areas of Plymouth, taking many photos to advertise the diverse locations it has to offer. I then took these photos into Lightroom to edit them, before uploading them alongside their relevant information onto Reel Scout. When location enquiries came from Filming in England, I also searched for locations in Devon that could match the description. This internship taught me about a different side to pre-production that I haven't experienced, and I learnt how to work to a professional capacity alongside others in industry.

'Woodcrafter for Wellbeing' Trailer

January 2026, Plymouth (Editing)

After completing the 'Woodcraft for Wellbeing' training video woodcrafter Alex Finberg, he asked me to create a trailer promoting the course. I showcased what the training entailed through B-Roll from our previous shoot, a voiceover by Alex, and overlaying music.

'Woodcraft for Wellbeing' Training Course

October 2025 - January 2026, Dartington

I was commissioned by Alex Finberg to create a educational film to assist him in teaching other woodcrafters to deliver the 'Woodcraft for Wellbeing' programme by Woodcarvers CIC. I produced, filmed and edited a 50 minute film with 13 Modules. Filming alongside Imogen Swale and Mirona Lescinschi, we filmed B-roll from a wellbeing session, and formal Module content with Alex. I brought this all together in the edit, adding sound effects and over 100 infographics created by Alex.

Luna's Fund

September 2025, Plymouth

After our work with Luna's Fund for our University module, Luna's Fund asked us back to make 4 more films for them, covering the stories of different families and a bereavement midwife at Derriford Hospital. I also worked as a cinematographer on this project, booking kit, completing risk assessments and taking high quality video on the shoot day. The first two videos released are The Story of Honey, and a conversation with Bereavement Midwife Jaime. The final two films will be released in early 2026.

Internship with FotoNow and Stiltskin Theatre

July 2025, Plymouth

Through The University of Plymouth, I found and applied for the role of Assistant Videographer. Working alongside FotoNow, a production company in Plymouth, we created a documentary following Stiltskin Theatre’s artists working with local primary schools. The project is called 'Tiny Voices, Giant Ideas', funded by the Paul Hamlyn Foundation. I was an Assistant Videographer, capturing the important work the artists do with the children, unlocking and encouraging their creative imaginations.

Afro Girl

March 2025, Saltash

I worked as a 2nd AD and behind the scenes photographer on set of 'Afro Girl', a short film by Tyler Pierreson. I communicated effectively with all departments, ensuring both adult and child actors (aged 11-16, a group of up to 30) were sent through hair and makeup on time and ready for their next scene. On the second day of filming, I changed roles to Behind The Scenes photography, and occassionally operating a boom microphone to assist the sound department. The film is now in the editing process.

For 'Strike', I was the 2nd Assistant Director and Production Assistant. I kept the production running to our tight schedule, overseeing multiple aspects such as checking props, changing sets, and looking after talent. SoundFactory Internship

November 2023 - January 2024, Plymouth

In my first year of University, I completed an internship with Sound Factory. I worked both independently and alongside other videographers, taking footage from pub gigs and live recording sessions. Post production work included editing clips for a music video and designing posters for upcoming gigs. To the left are live sessions recorded at The Millennium in Plymouth.

Intel AI - Sandstorm Films

I worked as a Runner on 'Asmodeous', a female led crime drama, written by Jodie Potter and produced by Alex Hudd. My roles included setting up lighting rigs and props, scouting out locations, clapper loading, transporting equipment and taking photos for social media promotion. This is the teaser for the show, which is in the process of aquiring investment.

Expedia Campaign - Swamp Media

August 2022, Badbury

On this shoot for Expedia with Swamp Motel, using the facilities at Sandstorm Films, I crewed as a Runner and Wardrobe Assistant. This involved me steaming costumes, having costume changes ready for actors in a small space of time, organising props, making final changes to actors’ costumes on set, finding alternative clothing items due to wardrobe malfunctions and ensuring actors were comfortable.

This was an online project for Expedia, showcasing the incredible destination of Los Vegas, without being able to shoot there due to Covid-19. The site was also nomiated for a Webby award.
